I held hands with worry

We walked together everyday

Worry led me down the path of fear

It led me down the path of sickness

It led me down the path of unfaithfulness

It led me down the path away from Him, my Lord and Savior.

Suddenly a Light shined upon the path to turn me the other way

I let go the hand of worry and ran to the Light!

The Light of Jesus, my Savior, my Healer, my Friend

I walk now with Him,

No worry

No fear

No sickness

My faith is restored

I will hold onto Him forever living in Peace.

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus!

The Wall

A wall is between us

A wall built by me

Each brick a brick of sin

Each brick of brick of pain

O Lord break the bricks

Break the bricks

The wall must come down

The bricks surrounding me

The wall surrounding me

is made of selfish desires

molded by resentment

fired by pride

O Lord break the bricks

Each brick made by me

Must be broken by You

Day by day break the bricks

The wall must be broken

O Lord break the bricks

Take a hammer Lord

Smash them up before me

I want to see Your Face

I want to see the Light

O Lord break the bricks

It hurts to feel them breaking

But the pain is worth it all

I know when they are gone

I will be set free

And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches.

Sometimes all we see are the storms in life. They swirl around us in a seemingly endless tumult. We cannot see beyond it. But… He promises to be with us in the storm. To provide all our needs as we face the storm. Remember, He is ALWAYS with us. Hold onto that!! Just wait to see what He will do!!!
